Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and accuracy in prescription management, supporting specialized clinical functions, regulatory compliance, and collaborative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute meticulous verification of patient data, prescriber authorization, and dosing accuracy.
- Perform comprehensive Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) for interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
- Validate formulation accuracy and Beyond-Use Dating (BUD) for specialized medications.
- Proactively identify and flag safety concerns with airtight documentation.
- Manage complex titration schedules and dosing protocols for GLP-1 receptor agonists.
- Oversee bioidentical formulations and specific monitoring parameters for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).
- Ensure workflows align with Kansas Board of Pharmacy and DEA requirements.
- Provide expert counseling to patients and clinical guidance to prescribers.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in compounding environments.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the State of Kansas
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to commute to / relocate to Lenexa, KS if not already local
- English fluency
