Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and accuracy in prescription management, supporting specialized clinical functions, regulatory compliance, and collaborative operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute meticulous verification of patient data, prescriber authorization, and dosing accuracy.
• Perform comprehensive Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) for interactions, allergies, and contraindications.
• Validate formulation accuracy and Beyond-Use Dating (BUD) for specialized medications.
• Proactively identify and flag safety concerns with airtight documentation.
• Manage complex titration schedules and dosing protocols for GLP-1 receptor agonists.
• Oversee bioidentical formulations and specific monitoring parameters for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).
• Ensure workflows align with Kansas Board of Pharmacy and DEA requirements.
• Provide expert counseling to patients and clinical guidance to prescribers.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in compounding environments.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the State of Kansas
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to commute to / relocate to Lenexa, KS if not already local
• English fluency
