Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Radiology Technician to join their team. The primary responsibilities include performing specialized imaging procedures, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of patient care and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Specialized Procedures: Learn and perform HSG procedures to examine the uterus and fallopian tubes for blockages or abnormalities.
- Imaging Excellence: Conduct diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring the production of high-quality radiographic images for physician review.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols, minimizing exposure to patients and clinical staff.
- Patient Care: Guide patients through imaging procedures with empathy, explaining the process to alleviate anxiety.
- Documentation: Maintain precise and up-to-date patient records and imaging logs within our clinical system.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Radiology or related field
- Fluoroscopy experience
- Valid certification in Radiology Technology
- Bachelor's degree in Radiology or related field (Preferred)
- Experience with advanced imaging techniques (Preferred)
- Experience with PACS and RIS systems (Preferred)
Education
Associate's degree in Radiology or related field.
Valid certification in Radiology Technology.
Additional Requirements
4 days per week, 9-hour shifts; 6:30am - 4:00pm.
