Job Summary
We are searching for a Research Analyst, specifically an Epic Research Senior Systems Analyst who excels in fast-paced environments. This position involves developing Epic application solutions to improve data and communications flow within the organization's Integrated Delivery System.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate user needs into detailed requirement specifications and identify system or application needs.
- Facilitate and support Epic system installation through the implementation cycle and prepare procedures for downtime, end-users, production, and help desk.
- Perform configuration analysis for system design and facilitate design analysis with users to determine user interface configuration.
- Analyze system problems and recommend modifications to maximize advantages of existing resources.
- Coordinate system implementations and upgrades, including scheduling and testing.
- Participate in the IDS Committee representing Epic Application Support and communicate goals, problems, and solutions.
Qualifications
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster doses recommended by the CDC, unless exempted for medical or religious reasons.
- Required: H.S. Diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
- Education offset policy: Bachelor's degree substitutes 4 years of work experience, Master's degree substitutes 2 years.
- Required 9 years of experience in hospital information systems selection, implementation, and support.
- Epic Systems Corporation experience counted at a premium rate.
