Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant responsible for handling the A/P area, including vendor setup, disbursements, and payment processing. The role includes maintaining reconciliations, preparing financial statements, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Serve as full charge of the A/P area, including vendor setup and payment processing.
- Process accounts payable in an accurate manner, ensuring proper approvals.
- Maintain master vendor files and resolve payment disputes.
- Reconcile A/P accounts and prepare necessary financial reports.
- Manage intercompany accounts and ensure cash flow compliance.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with external agencies and vendors.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- High School Degree is required.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and government contract accounting.
- Demonstrated skills in automated accounts payable systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

- Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements
- Must possess a current California driver’s license and applicable insurance.

Schedule / Shift
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, 5 days a week on-site.
