Job Summary
Our client is seeking a passionate, Board-Certified Primary Care Physician to join their team as a Resident Preceptor. This is a unique opportunity to combine meaningful patient care with mentorship and teaching, helping to develop the next generation of physicians in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including preventive services, chronic disease management, and acute care.
- Practice evidence-based medicine in a supportive, team-based clinical environment.
- Build long-term patient relationships while contributing to strong quality outcomes.
- Serve as the supervising attending for residents in clinic.
- Provide real-time clinical teaching and case-based learning.
- Offer constructive feedback and support progressive autonomy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement and educational initiatives.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine (required).
- Active, unrestricted New York State medical license.
- At least two years of post-residency clinical experience preferred.
- A genuine passion for teaching and mentoring resident physicians.
Skills
- Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in Spanish preferred for patient communication.
Additional Requirements
Flexible schedule, primarily 9-5 Monday to Friday, with potential weekend shifts if needed.
