Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Clinician to join their multidisciplinary team. The role involves providing individual therapy, conducting psychosocial assessments, and developing service plans for clients. The clinician will work collaboratively with staff, ensure quality client care, and participate in community outreach initiatives.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Function as a member of a multidisciplinary team and maintain positive work relationships.
- Provide individual therapy and participate in assertive community outreach.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments at intake for program enrollment.
- Develop and coordinate individualized service plans with clients.
- Assist clients in developing independent living skills and resources for goal achievement.
- Transport clients to and from necessary services as needed.
- Provide crisis intervention and support in problem resolution.
- Maintain open communication with the Mental Health Department and other agencies.
- Participate in staff, clinical, and community meetings.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
- Registered intern with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Proof of BBS registration and master's degree required.
Skills
- Proficient in developing and coordinating service plans.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in Spanish required.
Schedule / Shift
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
