Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage the credentialing process for oral surgeons and general dentists. This role involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal and external parties, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the credentialing process for oral surgeons and general dentists.
- Complete roster verifications and CAQH attestations to maintain network status for surgeons.
- Ensure accurate records within the credentialing platform.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to obtain updated provider information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and hard copy files of credentialing documentation.
- Communicate with providers to address discrepancies or missing information.
- Monitor expiring licenses and credentials, initiating renewals proactively.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing and provider enrollment in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations such as CAQH attestations.
- Proficiency in credentialing software and databases.
- Excellent attention to detail and handling complex documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Skills
- Tech-savvy with advanced Excel, Outlook, and system/software skills.
- Organizational and time management abilities.
Additional Requirements
- Onsite work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts.
