Job Summary
The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic scans and supporting various medical specialists such as general surgeons, orthopedic surgeons in a teaching hospital environment. The role involves working closely with patients to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform 16-17 diagnostic scans per day and 10 CT Scans per day.
- Support 2 general surgeons, orthopedics, and 2 OBGYNs.
- Utilize fluoroscopy, CT, and other general radiology procedures.
Qualifications
- AART certification.
- Texas license
- CPR certification.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in X-Ray and CTs.
Skills
- Proficient in fluoroscopy, CT, and general radiology procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills necessary for a teaching hospital setting.
