Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to dispense specialty medications, including those for Rheumatology and Osteoporosis, within a physician's office. The role involves managing workflows, handling prior authorizations, and dispensing under physician supervision, not pharmacy oversight.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Dispense specialty drugs (approximately 25 scripts per day) under physician supervision in a "Medically Integrated Dispensing" environment.
- Operate under a Medical Board license without the need for a pharmacist present.
- Assist in managing workflows and obtaining prior authorizations.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- Pharmacy Tech license or certification is required.
Skills
- Strong communication skills, with a bilingual preference in Armenian and Farsi.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Schedule / Shift
Initially, the schedule is 3 days per week (preferably Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (5 hours/day).
