Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Credentialing Specialist responsible for managing the credentialing process for oral surgeons and general dentists. The role involves maintaining clean and accurate records, coordinating with both internal departments and external agencies, and ensuring all credentialing documentation is up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the credentialing process for oral surgeons and general dentists.
- Complete roster verifications and CAQH attestations regularly to maintain network status for surgeons.
- Maintain clean and accurate records within the credentialing platform.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to obtain and update provider information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and hard copy files of all credentialing documentation.
- Communicate with providers to address discrepancies or missing information.
- Monitor expiring licenses and credentials, initiating the renewal process to avoid service disruptions.
- Execute any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years (3-5 years preferred) of experience in credentialing and provider enrollment in a healthcare setting required.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations, such as CAQH attestations and payer protocols.
- Proficient in using credentialing software and databases for data entry and maintenance.
