Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Physical Therapist responsible for evaluating and treating patients, establishing treatment plans, and providing comprehensive patient care and education. The ideal candidate will collaborate with healthcare providers and ensure thorough documentation and billing practices to elevate patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats patients.
- Interfaces with patient's MD regarding care and progress, and refers to appropriate providers when required.
- Establishes and implements individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
- Counsels and educates patients regarding various health concerns.
- Completes patient discharge planning and required documentation accurately.
- Ensures compliant and timely billing using Physical Therapy CPT codes.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderly work environment, following safety standards.
- Keeps current with certification and license requirements.
- Oversees students and interns, preparing monthly and annual reports.
- Participates in training new personnel and performs other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure, Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Skills
- Ability to maintain current certification and educational requirements.
- Strong documentation and billing skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in patient education and healthcare collaboration.
