Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Pharmacy Coordinator responsible for managing high volume inbound and outbound calls to support medication adherence, prescription refills, provider follow-ups, and member outreach in a fast-paced call center environment. The role demands strong multitasking skills, the ability to navigate multiple systems, and deliver accurate information to members, providers, and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high volume inbound and outbound calls.
- Support medication adherence and prescription refills.
- Follow up with providers and conduct member outreach.
- Review prescription claim documentation.
- Handle escalated inquiries across various communication channels.
- Translate prescriber notes and support Medicare drug-related issues.
- Provide administrative support and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA and compliance policies.
- Consistent attendance and adherence to schedules are essential.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Background in Pharmacy and/or Healthcare.
- Call center experience is preferred.
Experience
- 1 year in a pharmacy or medical setting.
- 6 months call center experience.
- 1 year experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.).
- 1 year experience with Pharmacy and/or medical terminology knowledge base.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of system troubleshooting.
- Strong customer service professionalism.
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently within assigned shifts.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work Mon-Fri 10am-7pm CST and rotating Saturdays 9am-6pm CST.
