Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to work on biologics products. The role involves weighing and dispensing materials, utilizing filtration systems, and inoculating mammalian or cytokines cells. The associate will also be responsible for fermentation and harvest, chromatography columns and TFF operations, and conducting in-process testing such as pH, conductivity, and cell counts. Additionally, preparation of media and buffer solutions, along with completion of batch records and other cGMP documentation accurately and timely, is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Weighing and dispensing of materials for biologics products.
- Utilizing filtration systems and inoculating cells.
- Managing fermentation, harvest, chromatography columns, and TFF operations.
- Conducting in-process tests including pH, conductivity, and cell counts.
- Preparing media and buffer solutions and completing batch records.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of Lab and/or Manufacturing experience in a GLP and/or GMP setting, or
- No Degree with 2+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience with filtration, fermentation, and/or bioreactors.
- Biologics experience preferred, including techniques such as Aseptic Filtration Systems and Fermentation Processes.
Skills
- Experience with Aseptic Filtration Systems and Fermentation Processes.
- Ability to accurately complete cGMP documentation.
Additional Requirements
- 1st and 2nd shift rotation (6am-2:30pm & 2pm-10:30pm M-F).
