Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Patient Access Specialist responsible for managing high volumes of incoming calls from patients, assisting with scheduling, registration, and entering patient information into the system. The role involves informing patients of co-pays and deductibles, explaining procedures and financial responsibilities, and communicating with clinical and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering high volume of incoming calls from patients and assisting with scheduling and registration.
- Collecting and entering patient demographic, insurance, and billing information into the system.
- Informing patients of possible co-pays and deductibles that need to be paid.
- Explaining procedure instructions and financial responsibilities.
- Addressing patient questions; and communicating with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient scheduling and patient care.
Qualifications
- Medical/Health Administration experience or 1 year of call center experience.
- Strong customer service, organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities are essential in this fast-paced environment.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and handle a high volume of calls.
- Highly organized and ability to multitask.
- Reliable and good tenure.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Skills
- Medical/Health Administration or call center experience.

Additional Requirements
9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Mondays - Fridays with rotating weekends and holidays.
