Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Dental Assistant who will play a crucial role in supporting dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patient management, and maintaining office efficiency. The primary goal is to work collaboratively to ensure the highest quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a team player with a positive attitude.
- Assist the Doctor on all dental procedures, having full training.
- Seat patients in the chair and educate them on the procedures.
- Reinforce oral hygiene instructions and maintain accurate electronic records of procedures.
- Stock operatories and uphold OSHA standards.
- Perform equipment maintenance and sterilization monitoring.
- Communicate effectively with patients and perform office management tasks.
- Work with insurance companies for prior authorizations.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Qualifications
- X-ray certification in Ohio.
- CPR/BLS certified.
- Completion of Dental Assistant Program (preferred).
Skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Customer service skills and ability to perform basic dental procedures.
- Familiarity with dental procedures, instruments, and office management tasks.
