Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Mammogram Technologist to perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations, collaborate with radiologists, and maintain an optimal imaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with radiologists for real-time diagnostic evaluation and imaging.
- Potential requirement to scan patients, similar to ultrasound workflow.
- Manage equipment cleanliness and maintain a professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Certificate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Current New York State license to practice Diagnostic Radiology.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R).
- ARRT Advanced Certification in Mammography (M).
- Experience working directly with radiologists during diagnostic evaluations is preferred.
- Proficiency in ACR/MQSA regulations and departmental protocols is preferred.
- Expert knowledge in radiation safety and infection control.
