Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Account Executive responsible for managing a portfolio of self-funded accounts, ensuring client retention, satisfaction, and identifying growth opportunities. The role requires strategic and technical guidance throughout the lifecycle of benefit plans, partnering cross-functionally to ensure high service standards and seamless transitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Coordinate new group implementations and renewals.
- Manage account activity, including onboarding and policy administration.
- Resolve complex client inquiries by collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Lead renewal strategy by evaluating financial performance and recommending plan options.
- Conduct employee benefit meetings and guide open enrollment efforts.
- Provide consultative updates to clients on market trends and compliance changes.
- Utilize benefit administration platforms to generate analytics and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in professional development and industry events.
- Travel is required up to approximately 30%, including occasional overnight trips.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience.
- Minimum five years of experience as an Account Executive or Account Manager in healthcare insurance.
- Active Producer license in the applicable state, maintained in good standing.
- Life and health license preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefit structures and plan administration.

Additional Requirements
- This position offers the flexibility to work remotely. Candidates near NY or FL offices are preferred for occasional in-person collaboration.
