Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Counselor to provide outpatient psychotherapy, primarily through individual and occasional group therapy sessions for both children and adults. The role includes maintaining a full-time caseload, documenting clinical notes, and participating in ongoing training.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Provide outpatient psychotherapy, including individual and occasional group therapy for both children and adults.
- Documentation: Input clinical notes into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system within 24 hours of the session.
- Case Load Management: Maintain a full-time caseload of approximately 30 to 50 patients.
- Administrative: Manage daily scheduling and communication via Microsoft Outlook.
- Training: Participate in a comprehensive 30-day ramp-up period, including shadowing supervisors and attending clinical training sessions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Maryland license as an LMSW, LCPC, or LCSW-C.
- Education: Master's degree required.
- Open to new grads and experienced professionals.
Skills
- Experience with logging notes in an EHR system.
- Comfortable working in both individual and group therapy settings.
