Job Summary
The Epic Technical Manager leads the design, implementation, and support of the technical architecture for the Epic environment. This role provides leadership to the Epic Technical Team, which includes strategic technical guidance, project management, personnel management, and optimization for the Epic solution. Responsibilities include coordinating production and non-production hardware and software support for the Epic infrastructure, which encompasses servers, network, storage, backup, operating systems, virtualization platforms, and desktop devices. Additionally, the role oversees Epic security administration, disaster recovery planning, and implementation requirements for the Epic infrastructure while partnering with the Epic and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure efficient functionality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of Epic environment architecture.
- Provide strategic technical guidance and project management to the Epic Technical Team.
- Coordinate hardware and software support for Epic infrastructure.
- Oversee Epic security administration and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with Epic and Enterprise Architecture teams for optimal functionality.
