Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Electrical Assembler responsible for sub-assembling electrical components and mounting them securely into designated cabinets. This role involves routing and terminating cables, interpreting electrical wiring diagrams, and recording production data. The Electrical Assembler is expected to adhere to company policies and meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Sub-assemble electrical components and securely mount them into designated cabinets.
- Route and terminate cables according to project specifications.
- Interpret electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings to determine assembly instructions and material needs.
- Accurately record production quantities and labor time.
- Monitor and maintain an inventory of necessary products and supplies at the workstation.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety manuals, and quality system documentation.
- Meet quarterly goals and manage assembly time to ensure projects are completed within specified timeframes.
Skills
- Proficiency with various manual and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
- Ability to follow step-by-step procedures and interpret complex diagrams.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient experience reading and interpreting schematics.
- Ability to wire panels, create cable harnesses, perform terminations, crimping, and populate boards with drives and relays.
