Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative primarily responsible for providing phone support for incoming and outgoing calls. Key duties involve processing payments, updating billing information, assisting with hardship program inquiries, and offering general customer service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up payment plans and assessing accounts for hardship assistance.
- Troubleshooting the online eBill platform and enrolling consumers in autopay.
- Handling general billing inquiries, copay costs, and processing payments.
- Managing the team inbox, processing credit card authorization forms, and drafting consumer letters for declined payments.
- Performing phone support and queue management.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer service or call center background, including meeting KPIs.
- Quick learner who adapts well to new tools and processes.
- Self-starter who works independently while staying engaged with the team.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
- Preferably, experience in healthcare and familiarity with SharePoint and Smartsheet.
Additional Requirements
This position requires in-office work, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
