Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Front Desk Representative to join their team. The primary responsibilities of this role include greeting and checking in patients, managing appointments, verifying patient information, collecting payments, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting patients with forms and inquiries. The goal is to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Location: Brentwood, Pennsylvania
Schedule: Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
Pay: $18-$18.50/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients; manage scheduling, phones, and front desk operations
- Verify demographics and insurance (Medicaid, Medicare, commercial, self-pay); collect copays and explain sliding fee scale programs
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and patient services
- Provide excellent, culturally responsive customer service in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community-based healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care insurance plans
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, or similar)
