Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Director responsible for overseeing a team of health information staff. The primary responsibilities include optimizing department workflows, managing vendor relationships, and serving as the hospital's Privacy Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of ~10 health information staff (Medical Records, Coding, CDI).
• Evaluate current department processes and optimize workflows.
• Manage all aspects of the medical records process (Scanning, Faxing, Indexing, DNFB).
• Manage external vendor relationships.
• Serve as the hospital's Privacy Officer.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• RHIT/RHIA certification.
• Management experience within HIM/Medical Records (Scanning, Faxing, Indexing, DNFB, etc.).

Experience

• 4+ Years of leadership experience in health information management and medical records in a hospital setting.

Schedule/Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Candidate flexibility may be needed to ensure the department is functioning properly).
