Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their expanding team. The primary role involves assisting a diverse patient population with a focus on family medicine within a fast-paced clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the onboarding of new medical providers by supporting their needs in the clinic.
- Provide personalized and curated health care experiences for walk-in patients.
- Engage in thorough training, including shadowing and demonstrations under a lead medical assistant.
- Complete required EPIC training sessions at an off-site location.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification through Washington State Department of Health.
- Bilingual skills in Punjabi or Spanish are preferred.
- Epic software experience is preferred.
Experience
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
Skills
- Technical competency with electronic medical records and Epic software is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively serve a diverse clientele.
Additional Requirements
- Compliance with health screenings including TB, MMR, VAR, T DAP, BG, and Drug Screen required.
- Attend in-person interview sessions with the clinic manager.
