Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated, patient-focused CT Technologist to join their team. This position supports evening imaging coverage and is ideal for a technologist with solid CT fundamentals and experience with IV contrast. The primary focus of this role is CT, within a multimodality imaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures following established protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Administer oral and IV contrast agents and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Perform IV starts (preferred experience).
• Optimize imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and healthcare team members.
• Accurately document patient information, imaging data, and contrast usage.
• Ensure equipment functionality, maintenance, and quality assurance.
• Assist with training and mentoring of students or new staff as needed.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in Radiography (Required).
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging principles.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently during evening hours.
• CT ARRT certification is preferred but not required.
• Candidates with adequate hands-on CT experience, including IV contrast administration, will be considered without CT certification.

Experience

• 1+ year of diagnostic radiology experience.
• 1+ year of CT experience.
• Experience with IV contrast administration and IV starts.
