Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to assist our client with financial reporting and analysis. The role involves preparing and maintaining the general ledger, monitoring, and reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger.
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, including the review of staff accountants’ reconciliation.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts, including complex and estimation areas.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, corporate, or public accounting setting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and health care industry standards, financial reporting, and accounting software.
- Master’s in Business Administration or Accountancy preferred.
- CPA or CPA candidate status preferred.
- Experience in a non-profit healthcare organization.

- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in healthcare, corporate, or public accounting settings.
