Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Vice President of Sales responsible for managing end-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and optimizing revenue operations for oncology-focused, ambulatory, multi-state practices. The role includes centralizing and optimizing RCM workflows, driving automation initiatives, overseeing teams and vendor partnerships, and delivering results while presenting to C-suite and Board-level stakeholders.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- End-to-end Revenue Cycle Management (front to back office)
- Revenue operations across oncology-focused, ambulatory, multi-state practices
- Capitation, risk-based, and value-based care models (this is a must-have)
- Centralization and optimization of RCM workflows across locations
- Driving automation initiatives, including AI/bots, claims scrubbers, and eligibility optimization
- Oversight of onshore and offshore teams plus vendor partnerships
- Managing 110 total resources (internal teammates, outsourced partners, and senior leaders)
- Navigating relationships with small and large payors
- Delivering results while confidently presenting to C-suite and Board-level stakeholders
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master's preferred
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive Revenue Cycle leadership experience
- Deep background in oncology, capitation, and value-based care
- Proven success in ambulatory or multi-state physician practice environments
- Clear, demonstrated ownership of the full revenue cycle
- Strong experience with RCM centralization and workflow optimization
- Comfortable leveraging technology, AI, and automation to drive efficiency
- Experience on the provider delivery side
- Career progression that reflects depth and credibility, not rapid ladder-climbing
