Job Summary
Our client is seeking independent, licensed Registered Dietitians to provide compassionate, patient-centered Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) via a state-of-the-art telehealth platform. This is a remote 1099 contractor role offering flexible scheduling, paid training, and the opportunity to work part-time or near full-time hours. The primary focus will be on weight management while also addressing related health concerns such as diabetes and metabolic conditions.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Conduct 30 or 60-minute 1:1 telehealth nutrition visits
- Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling using ADIME/SOAP documentation
- Review patient intake information and medical history prior to visits
- Focus on weight management while supporting additional health concerns as needed
- Educate and motivate members using standardized nutrition guidance and protocols
- Create post-visit summaries including goals, resources, and next steps
- Schedule follow-up appointments at the conclusion of each visit
- Complete accurate charting and billing documentation
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team via Slack
- Attend required trainings and monthly meetings
Schedule / Shift
Minimum availability: 16 hours per week, up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Set your own schedule using Google Calendar. Work can be scheduled from Monday to Sunday, 7 AM to 10 PM in your time zone.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Certifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Qualifications
- Active state license in dietetics/nutrition (multiple states preferred)
- Active NPI number (or willingness to obtain after offer)
- Comfort providing care in a fully remote environment
- Strong communication skills

- Computer with minimum 16GB RAM
- Mac OS 14/15+ or Windows 11+
