Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Customer Service Advocate for a call center role. The position involves handling both inbound and outbound calls, determining pharmacy eligibility, maintaining records, and providing exceptional customer service in a high-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine pharmacy eligibility by reviewing, researching, and analyzing information in the appropriate system.
- Maintain and enter member/prescription information into systems and forward records as needed.
- Record and respond to calls/emails/faxes from members, providers, and pharmacies.
- Answer specific Pharmacy Plan Benefit and sharing guideline questions.
- Provide exceptional customer service for incoming/outgoing calls.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all calls and documents in line with HIPAA/PHI guidelines.
- Use critical thinking and reasoning to resolve conflicts and manage workloads efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or transcripts required.
- 2+ years Pharmacy or PBM call center experience required.
- Knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical terminology/benefits.
- Comfortable working both inbound and outbound phone queues.
- Pharmacy Tech Trainee or certified Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Additional Requirements
- Training for the first 1-2 months will be from Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm.
- Post training, the agent will have an 8-hour shift (+1 hour lunch) between 5am-6pm, with a set schedule determined during training.
- Rotating Saturday work comes out to 1 Saturday every 6-8 weeks; Saturday hours are 7am-12pm, considered as overtime.
