Job Summary
Our client is seeking a motivated Shift Leader to oversee and ensure the smooth running of the mid-shift operations. This position requires proactive assessment and care of employees' health, documentation, and first-aid provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess employees by taking temperatures, checking vitals, and monitoring health.
- Provide first-aid, including wound care and managing injuries on-site.
- Document nurse's notes and enter data in the electronic charting system.
- Administer over-the-counter medications like Tylenol and Motrin.
- Conduct health screenings, ask screening questions, and assist at the plant.
- Clear team members post FMLA through questionnaire, vital signs, and temperature readings.
- Perform occupational health assessments and drug screens/physicals.
- Treat employees who are injured or unwell at the clinic.
Qualifications
- LPN/RN license or MA certification required.
- Current CPR certification.
- BLS certification.
- Proficiency in EMR/Charting systems.
- High School Degree or GED equivalency required.
- Ability to read and write English.
Experience
- 1-2+ years of experience in a relevant field.
Skills
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Good people skills, ability to prioritize tasks and follow instructions.
- Self-motivated and able to work well without direct supervision.
- Organized with ability to work in environments with extreme temperatures, smells, and loud noises.
