Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance processes in manufacturing. This role includes the inspection, sampling, and testing of materials as well as ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations. The primary goal is to maintain high quality and compliance standards in all manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs inspection, sampling, and testing on all incoming materials and packaging components as per detailed procedures.
- Ensures the smooth flow of material testing through coordination with laboratories.
- Performs cleaning and sanitization of ISO 7 areas and ISO 5 Laminar flow hood according to procedures.
- Assigns and verifies expiry and retest dates for GMP raw materials.
- Reviews and releases Raw and Critical Materials.
- Reviews documentation supporting batch, laboratory, warehouse, and other activities for compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Assists with quality assurance procedures and ensures compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Conducts quality assurance walk-through audits in manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse areas.
- Provides backup for other Quality Assurance Specialist responsibilities.
- Assists in project teams to resolve quality and manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Supports a broad spectrum of projects as required by Quality Management.
Qualifications
- BS Degree
- 1+ years of manufacturing Quality experience, ideally in Pharma
- Experience in Batch Record Review, Change Control, and/or Deviations
Experience
- 1+ years of manufacturing Quality experience, ideally from Pharma
- 2+ years of experience preferred
Skills
- Technical skills in quality assurance processes
- Strong attention to detail and compliance
