Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate full competency in the operation of production equipment and a strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes.
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment including, but not limited to, fixed reactors, filters, pumps, dryers, glassware, chillers, and mills.
- Ensure good documentation practices through accurate recording, maintenance, and organization of batch records, forms, documents, and logbooks.
- Interpret data from process instruments such as temperature, pressure, vacuum, and flow indicators, recorders, or controllers, and make corrective adjustments as required.
- Maintain accurate batch log record sheets documenting materials used, quantities produced, and critical operating parameters (e.g., pressure, temperature, vacuum).
- Properly label containers such as drums and bottles in accordance with procedures.
- Immediately report process deviations to supervision and complete deviation documentation as required.
- Perform assigned tasks as directed, support investigations when necessary, and take immediate action during emergency situations.
- Collect and submit samples for quality analysis following established procedures.
- Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain high standards of housekeeping and workstation cleanliness.
- Maximize productivity while adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and quality (cGMP) regulations and guidelines.
- Follow all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and write legibly in English and perform mathematical calculations, including yield and batch scale-down ratios.
- Prior pharmaceutical manufacturing or batch chemical experience required; alternatively, 2–3 years of experience in a light industrial manufacturing environment. Pharmaceutical or batch chemical experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant environment.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to obtain respirator clearance and comply with tight-fitting respirator requirements (clean shaven).
- Ability to learn and operate computer-controlled equipment; additional computer skills are a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.

- Soft skills: Ability to work accurately and follow written and verbal instructions.
6AM to 6PM for day shift & 6PM to 6AM for night shift. The schedule is a 2-2-3 12 hours rotation shift.
