Job Summary
Our client seeks an Epic Optime/Anesthesia Analyst to design, build, test, implement, and maintain applications and related information technologies. This role also involves providing consulting services on integrating information technologies into clinical and business processes and applying industry and organizational technology standards effectively.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Build applications to meet user requirements for new and optimized workflows in designated applications and systems.
- Conduct quality control of all application implementations/enhancements before release to customers and provide ongoing maintenance and support as required by the application lifecycle, including both at-the-elbow and virtual support of clinical and nonclinical staff at our hospital.
- Diagnose failures in application software and related technologies, and participate in resolving problems and issues associated with installed applications and related information technologies.
- Communicate with customers, project teams, and vendors in a timely manner with minimal supervision in analyzing and designing business and clinical requirements for new and optimized application and system workflows, ensuring secure and stable architectures are in place.
- Maintain an awareness of vendor and industry developments/plans in areas of responsibility, and communicate and document all relevant items and activities.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. (Preferred)
- Epic OpTime and Anesthesia Certifications required
Experience
- 7 years of relevant work experience
Schedule / Shift
Work hours: Full Time Days (8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday) for 40 hrs/week.
