Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care and collaborate with healthcare professionals. The primary goal is to ensure accurate patient assessments, documentation, and treatments within the scope of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient care needs, conduct nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within the scope of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care.
- Perform and document medical tests and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
- Administer medications and emergency care within the legal scope of practice.
- Maintain medical equipment, ensure a clean and safe environment, and follow infection control procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient health records.
- Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate Degree (A.S.) required.
- Registered Nurse license in the state of practice required.
- Current certification in AHA, ARC, or equivalent Basic Life Support for healthcare providers required.
- Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required based on contract scope of services.
Experience
- Primary Care nursing experience preferred.
Skills
- Clinical skills in patient assessments and treatments.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
