Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, using therapeutic exercises and modalities. The role involves evaluating patient information, revising treatment plans, and instructing patients and caregivers on exercises to continue post-discharge.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs with achievable functional goals.
- Evaluate and communicate the treatment process based on available patient information.
- Revise treatment plans throughout the treatment process for patients with various conditions.
- Instruct patients and family/caregivers in exercises and therapeutic procedures post-discharge.
- Delegate tasks and supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
- Complete documentation according to company policies and adhere to federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist
- Preferred experience in inpatient/outpatient settings
Skills
- Technical proficiency in developing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
- Strong communication skills for instructing patients and caregivers.
- Teamwork and supervisory abilities for managing PTAs and technicians.
Additional Requirements
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a possible Saturday on-call rotation once per month.
