Medix is currently seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist for an exciting travel opportunity at a premier Medical Center in Chicago starting early February 2026. We are looking for dedicated professionals to join a high-growth department known for its stellar atmosphere and commitment to patient care. In this role, you will work closely with our client’s team to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while benefiting from a manageable, industry-standard workload.

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks (520 hours)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (Start times between 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM)
State License: Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) License
Responsibilities:
- Perform Mammography screenings and scans at a pace of approximately 20 minutes per scan.
- Collaborate in a high-efficiency environment with 3 technicians operating across 2 mammography rooms.
- Utilize Siemens and Hologic imaging systems to deliver accurate results.
- Conduct comprehensive cancer risk assessment questionnaires with patients.
- Assist with room preparedness in ultrasound suites and provide support during breast procedures.
- Maintain a high level of proficiency with the EPIC EMR system and various Radiology Information Systems.
Requirements
- Certification: ARRT(M) Certified.
- Equipment Experience: Proficiency with Siemens Screening Equipment, specifically the B.brilliant system.
- Systems: Experience with Visage Imaging PACS and EPIC EMR.
- Licensure: Must hold a valid Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) License.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ABUS (GE Automated Breast Ultrasound Technology) is a plus.
