Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Telehealth Coordinator to conduct intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education through various telecommunication methods. The role will involve providing medication management, remote patient monitoring, and supporting patients with dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications under physician supervision. The position requires collaboration with team physicians and external providers to ensure comprehensive care and the ability to establish rapport with diverse patients using motivational interviewing techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intensive nutrition counseling and education via phone, video, chat, text, and email.
- Provide medication management in conjunction with physicians for obesity-related comorbidities.
- Engage in remote patient monitoring for various devices like scales and meters.
- Support patients with medication dosing within established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and external providers for thorough care.
- Establish rapport and therapeutic alliances with diverse patients.
- Utilize motivational interviewing to support behavior change.
- Meet program metrics while maintaining high care standards.
- Complete all necessary documentation timely.
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Have a HIPAA-friendly workspace with high-speed internet.
- Comfortable with advanced technology and electronic medical records.
- Able to adapt communication for diverse patient needs.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve patient interactions.

Additional Requirements
- Flexible part-time schedule, committing to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with availability on evenings and Saturdays preferred.
