Job Summary
As a Clinic Manager, you will provide direct administrative and clinical oversight for your assigned facility, ensuring the environment is expertly maintained to uphold rigorous quality benchmarks. You will foster a collaborative team ecosystem where open communication is prioritized and operational efficiencies are continuously refined to reduce costs. Your role includes managing the lifecycle of personnel management, strategically aligning staff schedules with fluctuating patient volumes, managing administrative duties, and serving as a vital link between medical staff and executive leadership. In addition, you will handle clinical duties such as performing diagnostic testing and managing the "revenue cycle" foundation, alongside overseeing OSHA compliance and equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct administrative and clinical oversight for the facility, ensuring high-quality benchmarks.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and continuously refine operational efficiencies.
- Manage the lifecycle of personnel management, including recruitment and performance evaluation.
- Align staff schedules to patient volumes and manage administrative duties like time-off requests.
- Perform diagnostic testing and manage the revenue cycle by verifying referrals and insurance authorizations.
- Ensure OSHA compliance, equipment maintenance, and manage inventory procurement.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required.
- 2-5 years of experience in clinical operations.
- Knowledge of all aspects of ophthalmic care.
- 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- OSC, COA, COT or COMT certification preferred.
- Experience with NextGen.
- College degree.
- Certified as ophthalmic technician or medical technologist.
Additional Requirements
Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30 am-6:30 pm with an 8-hour shift. There will be opportunities for overtime and weekend work.
