Job Summary
The Senior Manager will oversee high-volume revenue cycle operations, including billing, accounts receivable, denial management, and customer service. This role partners with internal teams, payers, and clients to implement best practices, resolve complex issues, and improve operational efficiency. This is a hybrid role, and candidates must be located in Wisconsin.
Responsibilities / Job Duties

Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

Manage department priorities, oversee billing operations, and track client billing.

Research and resolve complex billing and denial issues; communicate key reimbursement issues to executive leadership.

Analyze denial trends and collaborate with coding, contracting, and provider enrollment teams to implement strategic improvements.

Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support departmental and company goals.

Participate in education and training as required; perform additional duties as assigned.
Education
High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management.

Direct management experience overseeing supervisors or leads.

Knowledge of governmental and commercial payer requirements and billing platforms.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.

Excellent oral and written communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work under deadlines.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and corporate compliance policies.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with anesthesia billing.

Experience managing offshore or third-party teams.

Familiarity with Phy-genes, Epic, Cerner, or SIS billing systems.

Occasional travel for meetings and collaboration in Milwaukee, WI.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue cycle operations, including AR, denials, and insurance follow-up.
Skills

Technical: Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, EMR and billing software platforms, payer portals, clearinghouses.

Soft: Communication, teamwork, organization, problem-solving, attention to detail, proactive process improvement.
Schedule / Shift
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST; flexibility required for extra hours as needed.
