Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their team. The primary responsibilities include performing a variety of screening tests, collecting and preparing specimens, and ensuring accurate data input into medical records while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vision and audiometric testing and inform employees of recommended actions.
- Perform X-Rays and collect specimens for analysis.
- Conduct breath alcohol and urine drug screens, and perform ancillary tests like vital signs and ECGs.
- Provide discharge instructions and input data into records while adhering to confidentiality.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate testing equipment and maintain related documentation.
- May assist with administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Licensed or certified in accordance with the regulations of Washington State.
- Certificate in X-Ray Technician Registration required.
- Preferred certifications for audiometric testing (CAOHC) and PFTs (NIOSH Spirometry); should be obtained within a year of starting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, with preferred experience in previous occupations.
- Strong communication skills and computer proficiency required.
Additional Requirements
The base schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
