Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to play a vital role in their healthcare team. The primary responsibilities will include preparing patients for their visits, documenting vital signs, and assisting providers with procedures. The ideal candidate will help ensure an efficient clinic flow through effective communication and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and review charts prior to visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Locate and record fetal heart tones as indicated.
• Assist providers with in-office procedures such as Pap smears and IUD insertions/removals.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms between patients.
• Rotate between multiple providers, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
• Communicate effectively with providers and patients to support efficient clinic flow.

Qualifications

• OBGYN experience.
• 6 months of Medical Assistant (MA) experience.
• Go-getter, friendly personality.
• The ability to float to multiple locations.
• Bilingual preferred.
• ECW experience preferred.

Experience

• 6 months of experience in Medical Assisting.
• Specific experience in OBGYN is required.

Skills

• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (ECW) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
• Friendly and approachable personality.

Additional Requirements

• Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00AM-5:00PM, early release on Fridays after patients are wrapped up.
