Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Grants Manager responsible for guiding and supporting program teams, managing multiple sponsored projects, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. The role involves executing grant and contract agreements, providing financial reports, and collaborating with finance teams. This position plays a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Commit to the organization’s vision, mission, values, and Theory of Change at all levels.
- Provide guidance to program teams, assisting with budget development and monitoring expenditures.
- Independently manage multiple sponsored projects, ensuring transactions are allowable and reasonable.
- Ensure timely execution of grant and contract agreements, monitoring status and communication.
- Inform program and financial departments about deadlines and reporting requirements.
- Provide reports to confirm transactions and payroll charges with program teams.
- Collaborate to maintain accurate financial records and support audits.
- Stay informed about budgeting regulations and implement recommended policy updates.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with funders and provide mentorship to Grant Managers.
- Participate in advisory meetings, network to enhance service delivery, and build partner relationships.
- Maintain Project Management standards to ensure compliance with program restraints.
- Work with the communications team to increase program awareness.
- Actively participate in internal quality-improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Federal grant experience.
- Experience in grants, budgets, contracts, and forecasting.
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree in public health, social or health sciences, public policy, or related disciplines.
- Experience working with American Indian/Alaska Native populations.
Additional Requirements
- x4, 10 hour shifts onsite.
- Standard hours 7am-6pm.
