Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled Biller with a strong focus on integrity and good work ethic to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling professional-based electronic billing using CMS1500, managing claims submissions using ECW software, and working with various health insurance plans. This position requires effective communication and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Process 75-100 claims daily with attention to detail.
- Submit claims via ECW software for various health insurance plans, including Health Net, Anthem, and others.
- Ensure all billing is done professionally and maintain integrity in all transactions.
- Communicate effectively and work independently to support organizational goals without constant supervision.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of billing experience, preferably in a hybrid or remote setting.
- Strong integrity, good work ethic, and ability to stay on task independently.
- Experience with the health plans currently in use by our client.
- Ability to stay productive without constant oversight and find ways to support the organization proactively.
Skills
- Experience with ECW for claims submission.
- Ability to handle electronic billing with CMS1500.
- Excellent communication and self-management skills.
Schedule / Shift
- Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm.
- Minimum of 3 days a week in office, with a preference for 4 days in office and Fridays off if the candidate has the right experience.
