Job Summary
Join our client as a Director of Patient Financial Services where you will lead the financial operations for a multi-site health system, including hospitals and long-term care facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include driving excellence in accounts receivable, cash collections, and fostering a culture of integrity and high performance within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial operations for a multi-site health system, including four hospitals and four long-term care facilities.
- Drive excellence in accounts receivable, cash collections, and third-party reimbursement strategies.
- Supervise all PFS department managers and staff, fostering a culture of high integrity and performance.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of EHR and business office software programs.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and federal regulations regarding billing and patient data.
Qualifications
- 10 years of healthcare/revenue cycle management experience (hospital preferably) and 5 years in healthcare management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hospital business office functions and personnel management.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to interpret complex third-party payer terms.
- Skilled in hospital EHR systems, MS Office, and financial report-writer software.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Experience
- 10 years of experience in healthcare/revenue cycle management (hospital preferred).
- Recent experience transitioning ambulatory or hospital programs into a unified EHR system.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in hospital EHR systems, MS Office, and financial report-writer software.
- Exceptional operational leadership and decision-making abilities.
Additional Requirements
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
