Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to lead ETL processes, exploratory data analysis, and feature engineering efforts. The position involves designing and implementing machine learning algorithms, especially focusing on biomedical time-series data and small dataset challenges. The successful candidate will build robust solutions for various use cases and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate algorithmic innovations into tested solutions.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Lead ETL processes, exploratory data analysis, and feature engineering efforts.
- Design, prototype, and implement machine learning algorithms focusing on biomedical time-series data.
- Build solutions for classification, anomaly detection, regression, and prediction use cases.
- Maintain production-grade Python code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for solution development.
- Present findings and methodologies to stakeholders.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Qualifications
- Senior level individual designing, testing, and deploying machine learning algorithms in production environments.
- Strong foundational knowledge of probability, statistics, linear algebra, optimization, and both classical and modern ML techniques.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python.
- Experience with Matlab and C/C++ is a plus.
- Comfort working with CI platforms such as Git, Jira, and Bitbucket.

- Technical Skills: Expertise in Python, experience with Matlab, C/C++.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication for presenting findings to stakeholders.
