Location: Germantown, MD Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM), Monday - Friday Type: Contract to Hire
What You'll Be Doing (The Role):
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in a job well done, this role is for you! You'll be the backbone of our production line, assembling critical medical kits.
- Assembly & Production: Perform assigned manual assembly and production tasks following established procedures (SOPs).
- Quality Control: Ensure high product quality by maintaining attention to detail during assembly.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all required production paperwork.
- Equipment Operation: Set up, troubleshoot, and operate production equipment within the assembly area.
- Team Contribution: Assist with material preparation, counting, and verification, and contribute to process improvements.
What We're Looking For (Your Skills):
Your background in roles that demand speed, accuracy, and consistency is exactly what we need!
- Experience Required: High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent) plus 1-3 years of related work experience. Your background in food prep, stockroom management, assembly line work, or inventory is a huge plus!
- Dependable & Punctual: You understand the importance of being on time for your shift (3:30 PM start).
- Detail-Oriented: You notice the small things and ensure products are built right the first time.
- Physically Able: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using basic computer systems and potentially production equipment.
- Team Player: You enjoy working safely and effectively with a team.
Note: Experience with FDA/cGMP regulations (common in food or medical environments) is preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate!
