Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist who will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures following accepted protocols. The role involves preparing patients, managing ultrasound and vascular lab equipment, and maintaining accurate departmental records.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize and evaluate patient orders
• Working with around 10 scans per shift 
• NextGen- EMR 
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; answer questions thoroughly.
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures as directed by physicians.
• Adhere to prescribed safety standards when operating equipment.
• Maintain ultrasound and vascular lab equipment in good condition.
• Maintain examination rooms and order necessary supplies.
• Maintain accurate department records and files.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
• RDMS certification.
• Experience in cardiovascular pathology.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Skills

• Experience with cardiovascular pathology.
• Technical proficiency in ultrasound technology.
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction.

Additional Requirements

• 4x10 hour shifts with Monday - Friday availability.
