Position Title: Medication Dispensing Nurse (LPN) for an Adult Outpatient Program
Schedule/Shift: 5 am - 1:30 pm, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday shifts from 6:30-8:30 AM or 6:30-9:30 AM.
Location: Could be floating between two locations, the Denver location, and the other being the Aurora location depending on company's needs.

The team is committed to supporting patients on their path to recovery through compassionate treatment, medication services, and structured clinical support.
Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dependable LPN Medication Dispensing Nurse to join our Adult Outpatient Mobile Unit. This role is ideal for a nurse who wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals working toward recovery. In this position, you will collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to administer daily medications, monitor patient well-being, and support adherence to treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities: Administer medications such as Methadone, Suboxone, Naltrexone, Antabuse, and extended-release injectable naltrexone. Provide medication dosing through a clinical dispensing window, verifying patient identity and observing ingestion (up to ~200 patient encounters per shift). Assess patients for treatment appropriateness and clinical follow-up needs. Monitor vital signs, observe physical conditions, and report findings to medical staff. Perform blood draws, TB tests, and obtain lab results. Evaluate adverse medication reactions, overdose-related concerns, and issues related to HIV/HCV. Handle infectious materials safely and in compliance with policy. Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership
- Safely transport narcotic medication in compliance with DEA, State, Federal rules, and policies.
- Provide services at various locations including correctional facilities, rehabilitation centers, inpatient treatment facilities, or other designated sites.
- Assess patient needs for physical exams, monitor vital signs and health conditions, and report observations to physicians or counselors.
- Perform blood draws for labs, obtain test results, and administer TB tests.
- Assess and manage adverse medication reactions and issues related to drug overdose, HIV, and/or HCV.
- Handle infectious materials in accordance with applicable policy and procedures.
- Comprehend and comply with the vaccination and medical surveillance policies of affiliated facilities/clinics.
Qualifications:
- Valid and Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of nursing experience.
- Previous experience with Medication Assisted Treatment is preferred.
- Previous experience with patients in addiction treatment services is preferred.
- IV Certification is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum two years of nursing experience.
