Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their dynamic healthcare team. The primary responsibilities include greeting patients, assisting with registration and vital signs, and providing support during examinations and minor procedures. The role aims to ensure exceptional patient care and to assist with various clinical tasks in a warm and inviting healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history.
- Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first aid procedures.
- Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections.
- Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting, and filing.
- Conduct onsite lab testing to include EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
- Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits.
- Provide excellent customer service exemplifying CARE values.
Qualifications
- Certification in AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, or AAMA is a plus.
Experience
- 0-1 Years of experience in a similar medical assistant role.
