ADTS (Alcohol & Drug Treatment Specialist)
Location: Ventura, CA (near the Ventura courthouse)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Pay Range: $23–$25 per hour
Type: Full-time, Leave of Absence Coverage (estimated 3–6 months)

Overview:
A behavioral health program in Ventura, CA is seeking a registered or certified ADTS to provide field-based and forensic treatment services for adult clients. This is a leave-of-absence coverage role expected to last several months, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in mandatory daily treatment team meetings at 8:30am

• Lead a weekly SUD/SUS group every Thursday

• Split caseload between two adult programs:

  • Field-Based Program (approx. 60%) – Meet clients in the community (homes, clinic, parks, etc.) as part of an FSP team; never alone in the field

  • Forensic Program (approx. 40%) – Provide services within the local jail (ASAM assessments); always accompanied by a deputy

• Maintain a caseload of up to 10 adult clients

• Complete ASAM assessments and documentation

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams

• Travel locally; driving is a significant part of the role

Requirements:

• Registered or certified ADTS

• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record

• ASAM training/experience required

• Comfortable working with justice-involved adults and field-based services

• Ability to pass LiveScan and obtain jail clearance

• Business casual dress code

Preferred Qualifications:

• Spanish bilingual

• Experience with forensic or field-based programs

• Comfort working in both structured and community-based environments
